Sustainable cork yoga mat Canada eco-friendly yoga gear Natura Dura

Made from cork, rubber, steel, and cotton — not foam or plastic. Built for fewer, better things.

Natural yoga gear. Nothing added. Nothing wasted.

Shop gear built for practice — not the landfill.

WHY NATURA DURA?

Because it didn’t make sense to keep buying gear that looked “natural” but wasn’t.

Most mats are full of plastic. Most bottles still leach. And most brands aren’t upfront about what’s inside.

I started Natura Dura to make things I’d feel good using around my kid—gear made from real materials that actually work. Cork that grips better when you sweat. Steel that keeps water cold without plastic. Cotton that carries your mat without the landfill guilt.

We’re not trying to be perfect. Just honest about what matters.

We make slow gear for fast minds. We build for people who care what they step on, stretch with, and sip from.

For those who move daily, think deeply, and choose carefully.

Voices from the Mat—And the Mountains

“My daughter crawls on this mat. That’s why I chose cork.”

Most mats are full of mystery materials—I didn’t want her breathing that in. This one smells like bark, not plastic. It doesn’t flake, it wipes clean, and it holds steady even when I’m balancing with a toddler on my hip. It’s not just better for me—it’s safer for her too.

“Solid enough to lean into.”

I’ve used foam blocks before and they always felt like a compromise. This cork block is firm, stable, and doesn’t budge—even when I put full weight on it in backbends.

WHY CORK?

Because it works.

Cork’s unique cellular structure provides better grip when wet, making it ideal for hot yoga and high-intensity flows. Naturally antimicrobial and harvested without cutting down trees, cork is a win for both your practice and the planet.
