I didn’t start a business. I started solving a problem — as a mindful mover, and as a mom.
The story behind
I’ve always cared about what I put in and around my body — especially since becoming a mom.
Yoga and mindful movement were part of how I stayed grounded. But the gear? Full of plastic. Full of chemicals. Smelled like a tire shop. And somehow, every brand that claimed “eco” still shipped from halfway around the world in a box full of foam.
It didn’t make sense.
I didn’t want my child growing up surrounded by greenwashing — and I didn’t want to keep buying stuff that looked natural but was anything but.
So I started small. I found real cork. Natural rubber. Stainless steel. Built one mat. Then a block. Then a bottle. Each one tested, tweaked, and shipped from right here in Calgary.
That’s how Natura Dura was born — not from a business plan, but from a need.

What This Brand Stands For:
• Products that are safe to use around kids
• Gear that works, not just looks “eco”
• Transparency over trends
• Sourcing I can explain to my child without flinching
⸻
I’m not trying to scale like a VC-backed brand.
I’m not interested in the wellness aesthetic or perfect poses.
I’m building this slowly, responsibly, and with full integrity — so I can look my kid in the eye one day and say:
“This is how we do business in our family.”
If that speaks to you, welcome.
